This documentary produced and directed by Daisy Walsh and made for the BBC World service explores the story of a group of Hmong refugees who were resettled in French Guiana after they fled to the Thailand from Laos during the Vietnam War and the Laotian Civil War. With a long standing tradition in agriculture and farming the Hmong have since become the key producers of fruit and vegetables in French Guiana.
